April Full Moon Photos (and some dental trauma)
The other night I headed outside to get my usual full moon photo. While editing, I accidentally bit my tongue which made me look in my mouth and I noticed my gums had an INCREDIBLE amount of swelling on it.
On New Yearâs Eve 2004, I was punched in the face with brass knuckles which shattered my lower left jawbone. Donât recommend!
The first oral surgeon I went to after being discharged from the ER wired it shut as it was, so I spent weeks on a liquid diet only to find out it had set wrong.
Eventually I had to go to a different oral surgeon and because I had grown back so much bone in the wrong place, they had to surgically crack the jaw open again, reset it and hold it in place with metal bars on the bone fragments. (And another 3 months of being wired shut for healing)
This is to say that:
a: I have a lot of dental trauma
b: my nerves on the lower left side of my jaw are all shot and I canât feel anything there.
A tooth on my lower left had an infection that I didnât notice because I didnât have a nerve to tell me it was hurting, and I hadnât notice any gum irritation while flossing until it randomly ballooned.
Long story short, instead of posting moon photos the day after a full moon like I usually do (or night of) I got a ridiculously infected tooth extracted and then had a dayâs long battle with the pharmacy and the dentist office playing the âwho to blameâ game on where my antibiotics were while suffering from immense pain.
Anyway here are the moon photos.
little bit of cloud cover to add some variation
