April Snows Bring May....what exactly?

It's been raining for a few days; partially intermittent, so we'd have like three hours on, a few off etc - but temperature-wise it's been in the 60's (living under the oppressive Fahrenheit scale) so it's been neat sleeping with the windows open to get the air and the rain sounds.

Last night though, the sound and temperature got different, and when I looked out the window I was confused as to why it was so bright.

The snow proper only lasted for about an hour but it absolutely blanketed the ground. As the temperature started to normalize, it converted back to rain and now we have these little icecubes all over that haven't quite committed to melting yet, and it's hanging in the upper 30's.

It's neat seeing all the little flowers that've tried so hard to grow over the last few weeks get covered in snow. We had a few 70f days in March so I figured our cold season was over but hey, what do I know.

Anyway, not complaining! Just confused. Snow rules.
