Daily Dex - Archen, Cacnea, Runerigus, Muk, Tapu Bulu, Panpour, Cacturne and Relicanth
In which I challenge myself to draw a pokemon every day until I stop
There was a period of time earlier in this project where I was worried my blog posts would be too much pokemon all the time, and thankfully that's no longer the case as I've gotten into more of a stride.
The other side of this is of course is that now I have over a week's worth of pokemon to post all at once but y'know? It is what it is. I'll draw em till I stop.
Oh, and speaking of - like, a week or two ago I commented about how my goal with The Daily Dex is to at least try to make it to Pokemon Wind and Pokemon Waves releasing - but I read a headline yesterday (did not want psychic damage and thus didn't click through) that those games might contain 300 new pokemon and I may not survive lmao

I've never seen these in-game but I love them so much. Cactus is such an inherently cool thing that I love them in all iterations.

First time ever experiencing these was in Z-A's DLC and I couldn't help but think of the hieroglyph enemies from the fake Egypt section of EarthBound.

A Gen 1 staple. I deliberately picked Muk for July 4th because of how I feel about the state of the country. I'd had ideas of trying to do like a firework or explodey pokemon and this felt better.

Dude, the guardian deity pokemon from Sun and Moon are so cool. I love how this thing's shape changes with the sort of hat thing folding out.

On the one hand, who doesn't love a water monkey? But on the other, the first time I ever caught one of these in X and Y, I had a water starter and it felt redundant so I never used 'em lmao
