Daily Dex - Fennekin, Lunatone and Vivillon

Sun 12/28/2025 - Fennekin
Inspired by my trip to Lumiose for Z-A, I started a fresh save of Pokemon X to play through casually as time allows and started with a Fennekin. I named them TALLFOX, which is the nickname we gave to the (you'll never expect this) incredibly tall fox that pops up on our wildlife camera outside a lot. Every time it pops up, everyone in the house shouts "OOH TALLFOX".
It's the little things sometimes.

Given that I was back to photographing the moon I wanted to see if there was a moon pokemon and unsurprisingly there, is! I'm not sure I like the beak part though. I'm usually pretty pro-beak but this feels weird. (I do like this thing better than Solrock though)
Tues 12/30/2025 - Vivillon
My kids love giving me a random number for the project and today they gave me "666" which like, I gotta admit - we were all a little disappointed. There's nothing wrong with Vivillon!! but it feels anticlimactic for the supposedly 'evil' number.
Then again, it is nice when you experience things that aren't inherently poisoned by judeo-christian hegemony and a number can just be a number.
