One of the first things I saw today online was this post from Sol that made me openly guffaw so I let him pick today's pokemon - and I got to learn something! I'd never seen this guy before, it's super cute. Plus I don't think Bug / Electric is too common a typing?
Anyway right as I was about to sit down to draw today's entry, I saw the news that Scott Adams had died. I expected another wave of "Speak no ill of the dead" that happens every time a horrible person who has done material harm or said irredeemable shit on a grand scale dies - but VARIETY of all places included this in his eulogy and I think that's beautiful:

It event went on to detail his weird fixation with "I had this cancer longer than Biden did" - which like, I didn't expect this from any major publication, but certainly not Variety!!! lmfao - maybe we'll turn the corner on this wonky 'dead can do no wrong' stuff and it won't be a revisionist history nightmare when Trump or Rowling die the way it was when Kirk did.
Anyway. Bug pokemon! Cute!
