Weird week. The skies have been smoke-filled and air-quality alerted to shit, ICE is killing civilians (again), my country is / is not / is again / wait no / yes actually at war with Iran, 97 Democrats voted with Republicans to keep supporting Israel's genocide, and AI psychosis despite climate collapse continues unabated.
I think at this point I draw pokemon for my blood pressure. Please enjoy.

I love pelicans. Most birds are objectively cool but something about pelicans and how they will snake-like try to swallow something twice their size in their already stupidly-large mouth fucking rules, so Pokemon showing up and saying "hey so what if like...the mouth was like....BIGGER" is EXACTLY the kind of stoner thought I want from the pokemon company. More this please.
Also on the "just a bird" scale? Def just a bird.

I often wonder what goes into the conversations that lead to adding a later-generation earlier evolution of a pokemon, especially for something as iconic as Wobbuffet. Like, how did Pichu end up happening?
Alas. The mysteries of the world shall continue.
