In the past I've criticized the pokemon company for some of their seemingly odd choices for pokemon typing but you know what? I think it's brave to have a blue-ish elephant and NOT make it a water type. I'm proud of them.

Last night one of my kids asked what Gulpin evolves into since they're present in the Z-A DLC (as both a catchable pokemon and also a strange, seemingly useless mechanic involving excess donuts). They were under the impression it would evolve into something horrifying (like 50/50 chance with Pokemon tbh) and surprisingly, no! Just a blobby thing. Kinda cute. Poison type though so you never know.
