Daily Dex - Ralts, Omanyte and Goomy

Mon 11/24/25 - Ralts
Random number generation led me here - I have no attachment to this thing whatsoever. Lucked out and found both of the acknowledged-in-pokemon genders in ZA and was able to evolve them into Gardeovoir and Gallade respectively for dex completion purposes...but I really just do not use or care about them lmao
Tues 11/25/25 - Omanyte
The other day I was reminded of the first Twitch Plays Pokemon stream which (naturally) got me thinking about the cult of the helix fossil and made this thing front of mind.
At the time, I was working for a tech startup and we had this internal coding conference going on. There were presentations about independent projects devs were working on, personal stuff related to code or tech but not necessarily our work (I did an LSDJ chiptune presentation lol) and during lunch hours we put up Twitch Plays Pokemon on the projector. People from other parts of the company kept wandering in asking what the hell they were looking at and then staying for the rest of the thing.
Anyway I kinda messed up the proportions on this and tried to use the shading from the watercolor original art as a way to fix; I'm not suuuuper thrilled with how it turned out but I'm also only giving myself like 10ish minutes for these and it'll shake down like that sometimes.
Weds 11/26/25 - Goomy
I get that this eventually evolves into a slime dragon but like - how is this a dragon type. HOW.
Again, my ZA experience is me coming to Pokemon after years of background radiation: I'd played the gameboy originals pretty heavily but didn't keep up with the franchise, my kids have played a few titles off and on and have watched the more recent shows but I've never seen this thing before playing ZA, and while trying to hit the Mable research goal on 'Catch dragon types' I yelled at my fucking screen that catching once of these slimes in the sewer fulfilled that. Also, only evolves when it's raining?? Fuck offff
