By special request! (Reminder that you can at any time ping me anywhere I'm pingable, even in the comments on one of these posts, to request a pokemon. As longas I haven't done it yet lol) I'd kinda forgotten how much I didn't like this design. Squirtle's an all- timer and Blastoise is a fuckin GUY but this thing is just weird. It's got like angel cloud aesthetic as part of the design that doesn't match with the rest of the evolutionary chain.

No, shut up. YOU did RNG on Valentine's Day instead of doing the obvious heart pokemon that you completely forgot about.
I'd never heard of these until a quest in Z-A where someone needs you to help find their special Galarian one in a wild zone full of the regular ones. I gotta say - flat fish in 3D space is weird! The number of times afterward that I'd be in a battle zone and see a team DYN4MO construction dude with what looked like no pokemon was v confusing until the camera angle turned and the Z-fighting stopped.

Valentine's day as a concept is pretty weird but I do like the part where my partner gets to re-use heart shaped candy boxes for weird art projects, so who could say if the whole thing is a wash??
