First Snow of the Season

The first year we moved to New England we had snowfall on Thanksgiving Day. It wasn't a lot, but for Californians who'd relocated from a literal desert it was a magical experience. Every year since however has been EXTREMELY light on snow - in some cases not getting any until January (and then only maybe 1-2 drops total).

Yesterday our forecast said it was currently snowing at our location (it was not) and over the next few hours it started to rain. I went to bed with sadness in my soul and woke up to this:

I tried doing a camera focus adventure / cats at the window thing with Salamander and the snow outside but she kept moving. It's still neat, but def not the desired result.

Anyway here's hoping for more snow soon. The current forecast says there's a "Snow Squall" coming our way. I'll believe it when I see it.
