How Very Pythagorean of you
I'll be up front that I do not know anything about the spirituality known as Rosicrucianism other than my hyper-violent mother-in-law that I had a restraining order against prior to her death was briefly an adherent (what a fucking sentence that was), but I do know that the city where I grew up has a museum dedicated to their faith that takes the form of a several-block park full of structures and statues replicating Egyptian architecture and it's uhh pretty elaborate!!
I'm still sorting through all my photos from my San José trip but since I was staying in a hotel not far from the place I thought I'd walk over and see what's changed from when Della and I were younger and used to take photos there.
Not a lot, it turns out!
You walk around a corner and there's a pharaoh statue! Pretty wild, but kinda common here
I didn't get my camera out in time but there were black squirrels running rampant through this area; they came in from the window on the left and ran out the one on the right
A lot of the gates have this symbol; since it has a rose on it, I'm guessing it has something to do with the religion.
At the center there's a planetarium with a monument to Pythagoras outside of it, which like - hell yea. Love a monument to Pythagoras!
People don't realize this but 'Please do not climb on the sphinx' is a universal truth everyone should be imparted with.
