Of course the fascists are gonna fascist - but I think it's important to engage in some 'the best revenge is living well' (while also fighting for our lives) and for me, that involves hanging out in the snow and getting some photos of icicles
The gender binary is outdated bullshit that's predicated on forcing people into roles that (on the whole) benefit the patriarchal bent our society has. A power hungry man declaring that the binary is real doesn't materialize it into the world (and to be fair, the EO actually says all US citizens are female since he used conception as the terminology; absolute novice hours shit right there). The fight for rights begins anew but I can only control so much and help so much and donate time and money to an extent while keeping myself alive. So I find joy where I can.
And right now? That's photographing the icicles.

Trying to remember what the first few weeks of 2017 were like as EO after EO came down the pipe. I'm refusing to be disheartened about it. I'm taking my smiles where I can find them.
I hope you can find your icicle equivalent for the short term, cuz there's a lot to do and the wins are gonna be needed.
