It's been almost three years since we drove across the US with 20+ cats (plus thoughts about geography and my experiences with social media)

It’s wild that Cohost will be in read only mode by the time we hit the anniversary of the move and this post that I wrote in 2022 with a bunch of photos we took while crossing the country.

I didn’t get on Cohost till June of 2022, so it dawned on me the other day that despite me living most of my life in California, Cohost will have been an entirely New England experience for me?

And the more I thought about it, the more I realized I've had a lot of move-timed social media changes; I dropped Facebook around when Della and I moved to the Coachella valley - I stopped Instagram shortly after, and then moving out here was pretty closely timed with the tail end of Twitter - so I have these like, geographically associated memories of certain social media experiences. Digging in:

Livejournal was teen years in the Bay Area, Myspace was Boston, Facebook and Instagram were grown up years in the Bay Area, Twitter was the Desert, Cohost is New England.

Here's to blogging years in the tundra or some shit lmao
