Looking Forward To The Fall™
Prior to Cohost's announcement that it would be shutting down, I went into September with a glimmer in my eye looking with hope toward the end of the month / beginning of the next.
Fall is unquestionably my favorite time of year for a lot of reasons so it wasn't great to have my internet home get bulldozed as the kickoff - but now that we're beyond that (and two weeks into October), I'm back to being stoked about this fall for what's yet to come and what I, starry-eyed in the summer, was looking forward to.
And hey, Cohost closing started me back into Blogging so what a perfect way to wrap this together.
- My birthday! - It ruled.
- Echoes of Wisdom Release - I have played maybe ten minutes so far lmao but I'm gonna be doing some serious ikea-ing once I have time.
- Armour Astir Advent Print Release Kickstarter - I'm worried most of my devices have art from the PDF permanently burned into their screens so a print copy is a welcome change.
- New thermal print Camera! - it is really, REALLY cool.
- New England Fall leaves photography - Climate change really screwed this one. Maple trees that last year were red/orange on October 1st are still green as of today, the 10th.
- Over The Garden Wall fall purist lawful evil edition - this basically means I won't start a rewatch until October 1st. It's currently scheduled for this weekend.
- Mayor Bones Presents: The Annual Ghost Town Pumpkin Festival - An October tradition, y'all. I'm so stoked Adam keeps doing this when he has kind of no obligation to do so (and I can't imagine it's a cheap time or money investment.)
- Physical copy of Tales from the Loop; I've been looking forward to playing this for a while and I knew my copy was going to arrive at some point in October (arrived on the 4th.)
