Palm Trees Nevery Day
Starting in 2019 I ran a several years' long twitter thread wherein every day I took a photo of a palm tree and posted it. It was (surprising, I know) called Palm Trees Every Day.
When I moved to New England at the end of 2021 I had to stop the project obviously (In hindsight I say obviously but it might not be apparent to some people; they do not grow in that climate), but then Twitter got bought and I stopped using the platform entirely and I kinda forgot about it. I still have all the photos, internet archive has the thread (which hilariously was archived in October of 2021 when I moved so my display name in the archive is 'curious werequail'), and I even put together a whole year's worth of the shots into a free CC-BY licensed art park on Itch.io.
Since I haven't been to a place with Palm Trees since 2021 I used any and all opportunities on this San José trip to take photos of them. Here's a selection from the last few days, please enjoy.
