Rogule + Torchboy
A thing I'm super proud about at my work that has nothing to do with my actual job is that I introduced the company to Rogule, a daily rogue dungeon; there's an entire slack channel dedicated to people playing daily and sharing their scores, cheering each other's streaks on etc. The vibes are good!
Except today the vibes are RANCID because rolling layoffs are happening; thankfully I'm not impacted (though I'm feeling very 'final destination' at the moment)
One of the devs impacted by the layoffs announced as such in the Rogule slack channel of all places, but also shared that they've been working on their own Rogule-like for the last few months and I wanted to share it here because it rules and deserves some love:
Starting today, those of us still around at my company will carry on the legacy and play this game daily, sharing scores, cheering on streaks in the slack channel.
Fucken capitalism, man.
