A job that requires zero cats, and yet

Every place my partner Della and I have lived for roughly the last decade has included a dedicated "instant film" wall that showcases her stuff. At our first place it was polaroid because that's what we were still shooting at the time

This was taken almost exactly 11 years ago, wtf. I miss my Life is Strange shirt, lost it in a move

...but as we ran out of expired 90's and early 00's polaroid film (and Impossible Project stuff available at the time was...not great) Della switched over to Fujifilm Instax wide, and that became the cornerstone of both our final San José place and the Desert Art Colony we built in Palm Springs

To accent it a bit, Della used the empty film cartridges as frames and it gave it this really cool look.

So one of the first things we did at the Fae House when we got here in New England was put up a goddamn instant film wall.

Sadly, we couldn't do the film cartridge frames here because of the brick wall; push pins weren't going to be possible, and while taping the photos to the wall worked, the carts kept falling down no matter what we did (even tried velcro tape) so we had to go without.

Anyway, since we're getting ready for our return move back to the desert, it was time to take the wall down.

Had to banish them all from this side of the house because they kept menacing me (complimentary), but despite all the feline interference I'm happy to announce: Friends and foes, we achieved victory.
