Took Possum on a walk
Thankfully no dogs this time to force her to rethink her entire worldview
The drawer where I keep the leash / harness has other stuff in it and any time I go into said drawer for other purposes she comes full-speed running; the 'Hobbes hears a can of tuna' amount of vigor she puts into it is truly bonkers.
Last year when it finally got warm enough to take her out, our first steps were met with a neighbor's Husky seeing her and DESPERATELY wanting to play with her; this was her first experience with a dog and she did not care for it at all. She climbed up my shoulders and stayed there until about ten minutes after the dog was gone.
Of all the cats, she's the only one who actively likes walking / going outside - we've tried over the years with most of them and the response ranges from 'mild disinterest' to varying degrees of 'remember the scene in the Two Towers when Smeagol has the Elven rope loosely placed around his neck'.
Anyway when we got back she had a well earned nap on a blanket that wasn't meant for her. Cats.
